This article will guide you in setting public opening hours for your Locations.
Set opening hours for a Location
If you have charge points at locations you want to keep open to the public at certain times but closed for specific users at another time, you can do so with the opening hours feature.
This feature gives you the opportunity to define hourly intervals of the week during which charge points at a given Location can be viewed, accessed, and utilized by all end-users.
Outside of opening hours, only specified users can access and use the location.
This enables you to reserve specific times of the week where your own fleet of users can be guaranteed a spot for charging, and to use the Location to earn revenue through public charging the rest of the time.

Navigate to Location:

- Go to the Opening Hours tab
2. Click Edit Opening Hours
- Note: If public sharing is disabled for the location, enable it in the location edit first
3. By default, the location is set to always open (24/7). You can customize this by defining specific days and times.
Select the days of the week and set opening hours for each day

Specifying users who are granted charging access outside of opening hours
A user has access to the Location at all times if:
- The user has an active charge key with the Location attached to its group
- The user has an active voucher with the Location attached to its group
