What the Charge Map is (and isn’t)
The Charge Map in TruckCharge Connect is a network visibility tool: it helps you see where charging locations and chargers are, and quickly check whether a location looks suitable for a given charging need.
It is not a route planning / navigation tool for guests or drivers (i.e., it doesn’t optimize routes, driving breaks, or “chargers along the way”).
How to find chargers on the map
- Open TruckCharge Connect → Network
- Use the map to pan and zoom to the region you’re interested in.
- Use the search field to jump to a location faster by name/city/address.
- Click a location pin to open the location details and review the chargers/connectors available at that site.
Use filters to find a suitable charger
Filters are the key to turning “a map with many chargers” into “a shortlist that fits the need”.
Depending on your setup, the most helpful filters could be:
- Operator: restrict results to locations run by a specific operator
- Example: set Operator = “Daimler Truck” to show only chargers in the TruckCharge Network.
- Vehicle type: helps narrow to locations relevant for heavy-duty charging use cases
- Connector / connection type (e.g., CCS variants): helps ensure the site matches the vehicle’s connector needs.
- Other practical filters e.g. facilities, that make the charging site fit your need.
Tip: Start broad (e.g., Operator = Daimler Truck), then add one or two filters (e.g., connector type) until the results are manageable.
