If you want to do your own analysis of the data in Connect, you can easily export a file from the different tabs.
In the Dashboard and Charge Detail Record sections of Connect, you have the option to export data. This can be done to further analyse charging data from your network. The export files are focused on the Charge Detail Records (CDR's) and the data provided on these. On the tab, you can find the export-icon in the upper right corner:
Clicking this will take you through downloading the file with the current set filters. You will be presented with a little confirmation pop-up before the export is initialized. Remember to set the filters before exporting, to ensure you extract the relevant data you need.
Please note, that the download files can take several minutes to complete, if it contains large batch sizes.
The records will be downloaded as a CSV file directly in your browser.
Exporting from Dashboard
The file will contain the aggregated statistics per charge box connector per day.
Exporting from Charge detail records
The file will contain all the current charde detail records (CDR's) using the currently set filters. You have the option to select what decimal separator you want used in your export file, as there are different separators used according to regions.
- Semicolon (;) is commonly used in Europe, South America and other regions, where a comma is sused as a decimal separator.
- Comma (,) is commonly used in the UK, United States, Mexico and other regions, where a period is used as a decimal separator.
Exporting from Locations, App users or Charge keys
Going into the different sections of Connect when searching for specific data points like Locations, App users or Charge keys, also let you export data from the Charge Detail Records tab. Exporting from these ensure, that only data from the current section is used in your export file. This is mostly used to ensure that you are analyzing data from the specific source you are looking at (Location, App user or Charge key).
