The charger is still working, but cannot be accessed or communicated with.
- Ask the customer to turn off the power to the charger on their switchboard and turn it on again. The charger will reboot and become operational in 5-10 minutes, depending on the cellular reception in the area.
- If the charger does not become operational, one option is to switch the chargers communication from LTE to WiFi mode. That operation is usually carried out by sending a WIFI guide to the customer, with the PIN code to their charger, or by an on-site technician.
If the 2.4 GHz WiFi signal does not reach the charger, the customer will need to improve the strength of their WiFi with repeater technology or by moving their internet access point closer to the charger.
- Replace the charger, if the modem is faulted.
If the charger is configured to require authentication, the setting will be disabled if the charger is offline. Every offline charger should therefore work, but if not, a complete and thorough error report is essential!
