This page describes the different tariffs that can be set at a location and how they impact the various driver interfaces
Tariff
This tariff serves as the primary container for pricing and charging conditions for drivers on your charging network. It contains flexible pricing options like dynamic spot prices and conditional fees.
All prices displayed on the Location are gross (incl. VAT) as the Driver would see it. Example: A tariff on the location set to 0.65€/kWh will be displayed as 0.65€/kWh to the driver.
The price incl. VAT is set directly in the Legacy Tariff edit page.
This tariff is served to drivers using:
- 📱 Spirii Go or branded apps on version 3.7.1 or later ( Except MobilePay payment option, which is only available for DK 🇩🇰).
- 💳 Spirii POS (Payter Apollo).
Tariff (legacy)
The legacy tariff is planned to be phased out, but still serves some custom logic in a few places on the platform. It contains the option for spot prices, but does not include flexibility in terms of conditional fees.
All prices displayed on the Location are gross (incl. VAT) as the Driver would see it. Example: A legacy tariff on the location set to 0.45€/kWh will be displayed as 0.45€/kWh to the driver.
The price incl. VAT is set directly in the Legacy Tariff edit page.
This tariff is served to drivers using:
- 📱 Spirii Go or branded apps on version 3.7.0 or older.
- 📱 Mobile Pay as a payment option (DK Only 🇩🇰).
- 💳 Embedded Worldline Valina payment terminals (Alpitronic and XCharge models).
- The tariff on these terminals is set directly in the charger configurations. However, additional logic in Spirii’s platform updates this configuration value automatically based on 2 triggers:
- If a new legacy tariff is selected during the editing of a location.
- If the existing legacy tariff on the location is updated.
- Note: Previously, the Alpitronic charger had to be rebooted in order for the price update to take effect, but this has been solved by a later firmware update by Alpitronic.
- The tariff on these terminals is set directly in the charger configurations. However, additional logic in Spirii’s platform updates this configuration value automatically based on 2 triggers:
Roaming tariff
The roaming tariff serves as the charging price sent to Spirii’s roaming hubs and partnerships. Currently, only a flat price per kWh is available as the pricing option.
All prices displayed on the Location are gross (incl. VAT) as the Driver would see it before the roaming hub and EMP add their fees on top. Example: A roaming tariff on the location set to 0.70€/kWh could be set as 0.90€/kWh for the driver by the EMP, where the additional 0.20€/kWh are fees added outside of Spirii’s platform.
The VAT is automatically added to the net roaming tariff directly in the Location edit page in Spirii Connect, depending on the selected country.
This tariff is served to drivers using:
- 🌐 Hubject.
- 🤝 OCPI.
Pending roaming tariff change shows the newly updated tariff in Connect, waiting to be updated and implemented to the network (happens every day at 00:00).
