You can quickly and easily create multiple Charge Keys by uploading a CSV file with the required details. This method is ideal for onboarding large fleets or managing keys at scale in Connect.
Bulk uploading multiple charge keys
If you have multiple keys you need to upload at once, you can also choose to upload a CSV file with the UID and labels of the keys.
Please note, that bulk import is limited to a maximum of 100 IDs per upload.
- Go to Charge Keys in Spirii Connect and click Create Charge Key
- Select the Billing Customer. This is the owner of the charge key and the entity that receives the monthly billing in case no credit card is attached to the key.
- Select the type of key.
- Switch the Upload multiple keys from a CSV file setting on.
- Download the example CSV file and enter the UIDs and Labels of the charge key you want to create. There is a description in Connect that explains the requirements for correct upload:
- Supported headings: uid; label
- Required headings: uid; label
- Unique values required in columns: uid; label
- Upload the file to Connect once prepared.
- Select whether the key should be active immediately and enabled for charging, including access to roaming networks worldwide.
- Priority ensures critical vehicles (ambulances, police cars etc.) automatically receive higher charging priority when power is limited across simultaneous sessions. Read more about this here: Vehicle Charging Prioritization
- Define the Validity period (start and optional end date).
- Finally, add a Billing reference and/or an internal Comment if needed for the key.
- Hit Save, and the charge key is created! 🚀
